Abstract

A solution of N, N’-diacylhydrazine ligand in organic solvent is potential for colourimetric detection of F − /AcO − /PO\(_{4}^{3-}\) via -NH deprotonation, tautomerization and its stabilization as a colour alkali metal complex.

Colourimetric detection of fluoride, acetate and phosphate in a semi-aqueous solvent system via deprotonation, tautomerization followed by complex formation which is established by single crystal X-ray structural analysis.
