Zusammenfassung

In der Tradition der Sexualwissenschaft gab und gibt es wichtige Verbindungen zu, aber auch Differenzierungen gegenüber der forensischen Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und Psychologie. Der Beitrag untersucht aktuelle Tendenzen und mögliche zukünftige Perspektiven dieser Beziehung. Dies erfolgt anhand (1) der Darstellung einer kulturellen Dimension am Beispiel digitaler Medien, (2) der Beschreibung der aktuellen Entwicklungen von Diagnosekriterien für paraphile Störungen, (3) einer Diskussion der Risikofokussierung bei Sexualstraftätern oder Menschen mit einer paraphilen Symptomatik, (4) der zunehmenden Versuche, das Sexuelle objektiv messbar zu machen, und schließlich (5) zweier gegenwärtiger Ansätze sexualwissenschaftlicher Theoriebildung. Der Beitrag schließt mit einem Ausblick in Thesen.

Abstract

In the tradition of sexual sciences there were and are important links to but also differentiations from forensic psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychology. This article examines the current trends and possible future perspectives of this mutual relationship. This is carried out by (1) presentation of a cultural dimension using the example of digital media, (2) description of the current developments of diagnostic criteria for paraphilic disorders, (3) a discussion focusing on risk in sexual offenders or people with paraphilic symptoms, (4) the increasing attempts to make sexuality objectively measurable and finally (5) two current approaches of sexual scientific theory. The article concludes with an outlook in theses.
