Editorial Expression of Concern for: Chem. Pap. 72, 1437–1449 (2018) https://doi.org/10.1007/s11696-018-0400-3
The Editor-in-Chief is issuing an editorial Expression of Concern for this article. An investigation by Mendel University in Brno (MENDELU), Brno University of Technology (BUT) and the Central European Institute of Technology (CEITEC) was not able to establish that the replacement Fig. 7A published in a Correction (Kynicky et al. 2022) to this article came from the same set of microscopy experiments as the other panels in the same figure. Figure 7A does not affect the results and conclusions presented in the article. However, readers are encouraged to interpret the data in Fig. 7A (Kynicky et al. 2022) with caution. Jindrich Kynicky, Vedran Milosavljevic, Yazan Haddad, Miguel Angel Merlos Rodrigo, Hana Buchtelova, Zuzana Bytesnikova, Martin Brtnicky, Lukas Richtera and Vojtech Adam disagree with this statement. Pavlina Jelinkova and Pavel Kopel have not responded to correspondence from the Editor-in-Chief about this statement.
