Am Praxisbeispiel der entwicklungspolitischen Organisation Indienhilfe e. V. Herrsching, die Projekte zur Armutsbekämpfung in Indien fördert und entwicklungspolitische Bildungsarbeit in Deutschland betreibt, beschreibt die Autorin, welchen Stellenwert ein professioneller Verwaltungsrahmen für die Transparenz von Entscheidungen, für die Qualität in der Projektzusammenarbeit und das Monitoring der Projekte hat.

“Each Euro of my donation shall reach directly to the poor without any deduction!” This demand is often heard by development organisations. This article reflects the necessary administration to ensure transparency and effectiveness of NGOs. The author works for the NGO Indienhilfe e. V. Herrsching, an organisation pushing ahead the battle against poverty in India and working in the field of development education in Germany, and describes in this article the administrative part of her work which ensures the transparency of decisions, the quality of the project partnership and the monitoring of the projects.
