Prof. ZHAO DongYuan received his Ph.D. in 1990 from Jilin University. After several post-doctoral research in Israel and USA, he returned to China in 1998 and works at Chemistry Department of Fudan University as a professor. He is now the duty-director of Advanced Materials Laboratory. He was selected an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2007, a member of the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) in 2010. He has received some awards from china such as Cheung Kong Professorship (2000) and 2nd Grade National Prize of Science in 2004. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Materials Chemistry. He has published more than 500 peer-review papers and the paper has been cited for more than 35000 times. His research interests focus on the synthesis of zeolite and mesoporus materials and their applications in energy-related catalysis, battery, biology and water treatment.
Prof. YANG JinLong is currently a Changjiang Professor of Chemistry and executive dean of the School of Chemistry and Material Sciences at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He received his Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics from USTC in 1991. He is the recipient of the Young Chemist award from the Chinese Chemical Society and the national second prize for natural science, and is the supervisor of two PhD students who were the recipients of the award for national excellent doctoral thesis. His research interests focus on the development of first principles methods and their applications to clusters, nanostructures, solid materials, surfaces, and interfaces.
Prof. REN Bin is currently a professor of Chemistry at Xiamen University and the vice director of the State Key Laboratory of Physical Chemistry of Solid Surfaces, the director of the light scattering committee of the Chinese Physical Society. He received his Ph.D. degree in Xiamen University and joined as a faculty right after that. He is the recipient of Young Chemist Award from the Chinese Chemical Society and Young Electrochemist Award from the Chinese Electrochemical Society. He is one of the editors of Spectrochimica Acta A. His research interests focuse on the methodology of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy and tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy and their applications in surface science and live cell study.
