Digital Self-Interference Cancellation in Wireless Co-time and Co-frequency Full-Duplex System

Abstract

In this paper, we present a new scheme for digital self-interference cancellation in wireless co-time and co-frequency full-duplex system, where a feedback path is added for self-interference cancellation. The signal at the transmit antenna is coupled as the input of the feedback path, and the feedback radio shares the same local oscillator with the receive radio. With the proposed scheme, the phase noise, non-linearity, and quantization noise of the transmitter can be cancelled, and the phase noise of the receiver can be suppressed.
