Retraction note to: Water Resources Management (2021) 35:3253–3275
The authors have retracted this article. After publication, concerns were raised regarding overlap between this article and a previous publication from a different author group [1]. Specifically, Sect. 3.3, including the “New method”, comparison between “Former method” and “New method”, and Fig. 3 are reused from [1] without appropriate attribution. The authors have stated that they based this section on the previous article [1] and have agreed that they should have been more explicit about the reuse of materials.
The Editor-in-Chief has invited the authors to resubmit a revised version of the article.
Author Peyman Mahmoudi has stated on behalf of all co-authors that they agree to this retraction.
