Influence of the Composition of Nanosized MFe2O4 Spinels (M = Ni, Co, Mn) on Their Catalytic Properties in the Steam Reforming of Ethanol

  • Published:
Theoretical and Experimental Chemistry Aims and scope

The activity and selectivity of complex oxides with the spinel structure MFe2O4 (M = Ni, Co, Mn) in the reforming of ethanol at 250-700 °C has been investigated. The maximum yield of hydrogen reached 94.6% for MnFe2O4 at 650 °C and decreased in the series MnFe2O4 > CoFe2O4 > NiFe2O4.
