Erratum to: Scientometrics (2016) 106:657–694 DOI 10.1007/s11192-015-1802-4
In the original publication of the paper, the first name and surname of one of the authors in the reference list had been interchanged inadvertently, and also the in-text citation of the same reference appeared incorrectly in the sections Introduction, Theoretical background and fp k-index definition as “Xiaojun et al. (2011)”. The correct citation should read as “Hu et al. (2011)” and the correct reference should read as shown in the Reference list below.
In addition, the authors have accidentally misused the terms G and H that denote forward citation generations as introduced by Hu et al. (2011). In Table 2 and Table 4 the row headers “Restricted (G)” and “Independent (H)” should be swapped and all the rest in text and in table occurrences of G in the paper should read as H and vice versa.
