The paper presents the Morse potential-based calculation of Franck–Condon factors which have not been investigated from the point of view of allowed transitions associated with the first negative and second positive systems. For nonallowed transitions, it is shown that the Morse potential provides an exact calculation of factors, depending on vibrational constants. During the vibrational number increase, the deviation is observed between calculated Franck–Condon factors and those determined by the more accurate Rydberg–Klein–Rees potential.
