Inheritance of the Elastic Field of a Dislocation Center for Martensite Nucleation by a Driving Wave Process

  • Published:
Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

The possibility of inheritance of the elastic field in the region of forming initial excited state by the driving wave process of martensitic crystal growth is demonstrated. The general case in which the planes set by pairs of wave vectors of driving waves and eigenvectors of the plane strain tensor are non-parallel is analyzed. Discussion of results is presented.
