Abstract
A series of o-benzoquinones containing 2,4,4-trimethyl-2-pentyl (tert-octyl) substituents were synthesized. The stability of the reduced forms of the synthesized o-quinones and the electron density distribution in the corresponding radical anion species were studied by cyclic voltammetry and EPR spectroscopy.
