Chelate method for the synthesis of 3-amidino-substituted 4-pyridones

Abstract

An efficient synthetic procedure to obtain 3-(N-benzoylamidino)-substituted 4-pyridones has been developed based on the reaction of difluoroboron complex of N-benzoyl-substituted diacylketene aminal with primary amines.
