Abstract

The Diels—Alder reaction rates of 9-hydroxymethylanthracene with N-phenylmaleimide and N-ethylmaleimide in water, butan-1-ol, ethylene glycol, acetonitrile, chloroform, and 1,4-dioxane have been compared.
