Abstract
The possibility of formation of arylphosphinidene complexes with tungsten pentacarbonyl ArP=W(CO)5 upon the nucleophilic substitution of the chlorine atoms in aryldichlorophosphines ArPCl2 by the electrochemically generated [W(CO)5]2− anion is demonstrated.
