Aluminum carbide-silicon carbide refractories for lining mobile mixers

  • Published:
Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Aims and scope

Abstract

In OAO Borovich Refractory Combine technology is developed for preparing highly refractory corundum-silicon carbide-carbon refractories grades KKU and KKF. Features of product composition and structure are considered. Physicochemical and thermal properties are compared with the indices of analogs produced by other enterprises. The distinguishing properties and advantages of using them in lining iron-carrying ladles of the mixer type are established.
