Synthesis of steroid hormones highly labeled with tritium and their use for assessing the activity of aromatase

  • Published:
Radiochemistry Aims and scope

Abstract

Steroids highly labeled with tritium (progesterone, estradiol, androstenedione) were synthesized and used to assess the activity of aromatase at various pathologies. The high activity of aromatase in endometrium in endometrium cancer patients without myoma corresponds to a worse prognosis.
