Abstract
The research aims to conduct a quantitative and qualitative analysis of urbanization trends in Central Asian countries, considering two aspects: the expansion of urban areas and the intensive increase in population in urban agglomerations. To achieve this goal, an analysis of urbanization trends in Central Asian countries for the years 2010–2022 was conducted. The research results emphasize that the relationship between GDP and the urbanization index is complex and not always straightforward. The analysis of the correlation between GDP and the urbanization index in Central Asian countries highlights the complexity of urbanization processes, which depend on various factors.
