Development of a Method for Assay of Flavonoids and Chlorhexidine in Medicinal Wound-Healing Pencil Formulations

  • Published:
Pharmaceutical Chemistry Journal Aims and scope

Amethod for selective assay of flavonoids and chlorhexidine bigluconate in medicinal wound-healing pencils was developed using differential spectrophotometry and capillary electrophoresis. The validity of the proposed spectrophotometric and electrophoretic methods was established in terms of specificity, linearity, correctness, and precision (similarity). The method can be used for standardization and quality control for the active ingredients in medicinal pencils.
