Calculation of the temperature field in the surface layer of a cermet with electron-pulsed irradiation

  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

Calculations are provided for the temperature profiles and gradient occurring in the surface layer of cermet (50 vol.% TiC-50 vol.% Ni-20% Cr alloy) with electron-pulsed irradiation of its surface with a different power density in the electron beam, duration, number and frequency of irradiation pulses.
