Coil-Processing of CFRP Bandages for Rotors of High-Speed Synchronous Electric Machines with Permanent Magnets

  • Published:
Mechanics of Composite Materials Aims and scope

A method for calculating a structural element of high-speed synchronous machines with permanent magnets is proposed. The stresses arising in the CFRP bandage during operation are investigated. Expressions describing the stress-strain state of a permanent magnet in the form of a ring at rotation are suggested. Expressions describing the stress-strain state of an anisotropic composite bandage are obtained. The stresses-strain state of a structure consisting of a spindle with permanent magnets and a CFRP bandage is numerically investigated.
