An experimental investigation of a method of determining the flash point of petroleum products

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

The results of experimental investigations of a method of determining the flash point of petroleum products, carried out on motor oils, are presented. It is established that a change in the volume of the petroleum product has no effect on the flash point, but a change in the rate of heating has a considerable influence on this parameter.
