Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

A theoretical investigation of the metrological characteristics of a precision Fresnel attenuator is performed for the purpose of determining whether it can be employed as a comparison standard intended for comparing the domestic primary standard of the unit of mean power of continuous laser radiation with an absolute cryogenic radiometer.
