Properties are evaluated for heat-affected zone (HAZ) metal with welding of X70 strength group steels microalloyed with niobium and additions of chromium and nickel. The evaluation criteria used were determination of parameters of the upper, medium, and lower threshold temperatures for HAZ metal cold brittleness with a coarse microstructure and austenite grains of significant magnitude.
