Abstract
This article examines issues relating to performing research and testing that entail the use of viscous fluids. It describes the main problems that arise in planning and designing testing systems for such fluids. The article discusses the most important metrological characteristics of circulation-type units operated with media that have a variable kinematic viscosity.
