Modelling the process of gas casting for the production of housing parts from tubular semifinished products

Abstract

An example is given of the use of a technology developed by the Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys to make parts of housings from tubes (alloy Zn-22% Al) of rectangular cross section under superplastic conditions. The technology employs gasostatic casting.
