The Magnetic Moment of a Superconducting Ball in a Axisymmetric Magnetic Field

Abstract

The magnetic moment of a spherical superconductor that is located on the axis of the external axisymmetric magnetic field is found. It is proved that the magnetic moment is completely determined by the value of the external field in the center of the ball.
