Abstract

A procedure is proposed for calculating the loads acting on double sheet blade of impeller of the mine axial fan. It is established that torque of aerodynamic forces of blade creates an alternating load on slewing gear of the blades, and the main load of the gear is the frictional torque of rolling at the blade attachment point under the action of centrifugal forces.
