Abstract
We have investigated magnetization (M) and magnetoresistance (MR) of CaCu3Ti4−x Ru x O12 (x=0, 1.5, and 4). The magnetization in magnetic fields (H) up to 52 T decreases with increasing Ru content x. The M–H curves for x=0 and 4 are almost linear in field, but that for x=1.5 is non-linear and shows a convex-bending in high magnetic fields. Furthermore, a large negative MR about −70% at 52 T is observed for x=1.5. These experimental results suggest that the magnetic field increases the itinerancy for x=1.5.
