Journal of Engineering Physics and Thermophysics Aims and scope

The flow of a compressible viscous fluid in a channel with a blow was numerically simulated. The results of a computational experiment were compared with approximate solutions and calculation data presented in the literature. The results obtained allow one to estimate the role of the compressibility of a fluid in the formation of the structure of its flow in a channel with permeable walls. It has been established that the compressibility of this fluid leads to an increase in the curvature of the lines of its flow near the blow surface and to a filling of the profile of the axial velocity of the flow.
