Spectral Efficiency of Ti:Sapphire Active Medium Pumping by Alingan LED Emission

  • Published:
Journal of Applied Spectroscopy Aims and scope

The electroluminescent characteristics of powerful AlInGaN LEDs in high-pulsed current regime were investigated. Current dependences of power and emission spectra of blue–green LEDs were established in relation to the efficiency of the Ti:sapphire active medium pumping. The attained optical pumping power densities using LEDs were estimated.
