Cooling Capacity Study of Polymer Fills in Cooling Towers Having a Varying Degree of Contamination

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

Laboratory hydroaerothermal tests of polymer fills used in cooling towers having various degrees of contamination were conducted. The dependence of fill performance on the operating mode of a cooling tower was established, along with the effect of fill contamination on the cooling capacity of an evaporative tower.
