The basic stages in the reconstruction of the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant following the major technogenic accident of 2009 are presented. The principal problem areas and methods of their solution in light of modern requirements and technical capabilities for the case of the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant are considered.
