The effect of ZrO2, P2O5, and F– ions on the resistance of electrode glass to fluorine-containing media is investigated. It is established that the most stable glasses have the minimum content of P2O5 (no more than 2.5%) and molar content of ZrO2 to 3%. It is shown that for glass electrodes whose active part consists of experimental glass the electrode should be soaked for 3 – 7 days in a HF solution with concentration to 1000 mg/liter.
