Study of the filtering properties of nonwovens made of thermostable fibres

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

An experimental unit for determining the filtering properties of nonwovens made of thermostable fibres was tested. Graphic dependences of the filtering properties of needle-punch skeleton material on the process parameters were plotted with regression equations. The graphic dependences of the filtering properties of nonwoven skeleton material made of thermostable fibres on the process parameters was analyzed. The optimum process parameters selected were surface density of fibre web of 180 g/m2 and final punching density of 200 cm-2 .
