A New Alkaloid from Eomecon chionantha

In the present study, one new benzophenanthridine alkaloid derivative, 2′ -methoxy-3′ -methyltetrahydrofuran-(5′→6)-dihydrochelerythrine (1) was separated from Eomecon chionantha Hance. The chemical structure of 1 was identified based on extensive spectroscopic data including UV, HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR.
