The lipid composition of soft tissues of the Far-East bivalve mollusk Spisula sachalinensis was studied. Differences in the contents of individual lipid components, i.e., free and bound lipids including neutral lipids, sterols, glyceroglyco- and phospholipids, and cholesterol and its esters, were found. Bound lipids made up 84.2–90% of the lipid mass and were the major component of all soft tissues. The presence of 46 FA of various structures with different quantitative contents and localizations was established experimentally. The fatty acids included 12 saturated, 15 unsaturated, and 19 polyunsaturated ones.
