Polyprenols from Leaves of Rhus coriaria

Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

Polyprenols from leaves of Rhus coriaria were studied. It was shown that they occurred in bound and free forms and consisted of polyprenol homologs with 10–13 isoprene units. The compositions of the homologs were determined using HPLC. The dominant prenols were undeca- and dodecaprenols.
