Abstract
A compilation has been made of all available data on pion production in proton-induced reactions in the subthreshold region at E proton≤200 MeV. Combined with recent data obtained by the TAPS collaboration it reveals large cross section variations in the published data. The variations appear to be mostly experimental in origin.
