Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Aims and scope

The results of analysis of the effect of Raschig ring wall thickness in dumped packings on energy consumptions during column equipment operation with reference to drying tower of sulfuric acid production plant are presented. Regression equations and graphical relationships of specific surface and free volume of dumped Raschig ring packing as well as of hydraulic resistance and energy consumptions during operation of the column equipment with Raschig ring wall thickness are presented.
