Drying of powdery carbon-fiber components

  • Published:
Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Aims and scope

The drying of moist granular materials and equipment for its implementation is analyzed. The preparation of powdery components for the production of carbon fibers is examined. The drying kinetics of sodium nitrite and sodium chloride is investigated. A procedure is presented for analysis of production parameters of the drying of moist granular materials in a continuous regime. A process flow diagram for preparation of powdery components of a carbon-fiber mass is examined.
