Abstract
Methods of improving the quality of articles fabricated from rubber stock during their processing by the method of extrusion are discussed.
Extrusion conditions are defined, and the design of the molding tool, which makes it possible to prevent “swelling” of the material being processed, i.e., reduce the relative change in the diameter of the extrudate to a minimum at maximum extruder output, is selected.
