Abstract

In rubber manufacturing, the shape and size of rubber details after extrusion are often different from the mold because of its characteristics. In order to achieve required shape and size, it is necessary to determine the adjustment coefficient and extrusion mold profile. Experimental planning is one of the effective methods to determine this coefficient. The authors combine theoretical research with use of design software and experience to determine correction coefficients and extrusion profiles. Obtained results of adjustment coefficients and extrusion profiles for rubber seals on B80HN wagon ensure technical requirements.
