A comprehensive analysis of the properties of close-cut fractions of hydrotreated and hydrocracked diesel fuels was made to evaluate their usability as a feed of plant for isodewaxing on platinum catalyst. An ideal model of fractional feed distribution in dewaxing plant is constructed. It is shown that more than half of the conventional feed of dewaxing plant is inert material of the process, which needs to be separated and passed to stock-tank winter diesel fuel, besides the reactor. It is shown that heavy fraction of hydrocracked diesel fuel is the most suitable dewaxing feed.
