A method is proposed for increasing the efficiency of a gas fractionation unit by increasing the yield of propane and butane fractions, while maintaining their quality, as a result of the process of deethanization in a system of two columns and the use of suspension type overflow devices instead of stationary overflow devices. The research tool was the PRO-II SIMSCI program, and the thermodynamic NRTL method was used for calculations.
