A method of multi-criterion analysis based on the linear convolution as applied to the dismantling and handling of the internals and the reactor vessel during decommissioning of the NPP unit with VVER is described, the sequence of its application is presented, and the modeling results are given on consideration of alternative variants. The following criteria are proposed in order to evaluate the variations: total costs and total project completion time and the possibility of replicating the decision. Approaches to determining the total costs and the total project implementation period taking into account the experience of decommissioning NPP units are proposed. The considered technique makes it possible to take into account many incomparable criteria and to choose on their basis the most desirable criterion.
