Erratum to: Antonie van Leeuwenhoek DOI 10.1007/s10482-013-0071-6
Subsequent to the publication of the above paper it has been brought to our attention that the species epithet proposed for the taxon represented by strain JLT2013T is not grammatically correct as “Parvularcula oceanus” should have been proposed as Parvularcula oceani. We here propose the corrected name for the taxon represented by strain JLT2013T.
Description of Parvularcula oceani sp. nov.
Parvularcula oceani (o.ce.a’ni. L. gen. n. oceani of the ocean)
The description of the species is as given for “Parvularcula oceanus” in Li et al. (2014) Antonie van Leeuwenhoek (DOI 10.1007/s10482-013-0071-6).
The type strain is JLT2013T (=LMG 27362T = CGMCC 1.12400T).
