Abstract
Since the traditional energy consumption by the transportation system for both passengers and goods vehicles around the globe causes severe energy and environmental crises, in this research, a model of hybrid wind and solar energy implementation technology has been developed to use wind and solar power by transportation vehicles to mitigate energy and environmental crises caused globally. Hence, the mathematical modeling conducted by MATLAB R2021b confirmed that the utilization of hybrid wind and solar energy technology as natural energy sources for transportation vehicles is very feasible and would be an interesting field of engineering technology to mitigate the global energy and environmental crisis caused by the transportation sector. Simply, an adaptation of large-scale hybrid wind and solar energy, which is environmentally friendly, to run transportation vehicles for both passenger and goods around the world would be an excellent solution to meet the net energy demand for the transportation sector throughout the world.
