Zusammenfassung

Zunehmend wird der Rettungsdienst in die Betreuung adipöser Patienten eingebunden. Ausgehend von einem Einsatzbeispiel werden verschiedene Problemfelder in der Versorgung beleuchtet und eine Diskussion der Thematik auch in den Organisationsstrukturen angeregt.

Abstract

Prehospital emergency teams are increasingly becoming involved in the care of obese patients. Exemplified by a case report, different areas of emergency care are pointed out and a discussion, even in structures of prehospital organization, is suggested.
