Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Die Spiralbündelnagelung ist ein älteres Verfahren, welches jedoch unserer Meinung nach auch in der heutigen Zeit, auch im Erwachsenenalter, seine Anwendung finden kann. Im Vergleich mit anderen Osteosyntheseverfahren wie der Plattenosteosynthese und auch der Anlage eines Fixateur externe halten wir die Spiralbündelnagelung nach Henning als eine geeignete Methode für eine adäquate Versorgung bei proximalen Humerusfrakturen.

Methode

Die Spiralbündelnagelung nach Henning verfügt über eine hohe Indikationsbreite, und im Rahmen der Osteosynthese wird die Rotatorenmanschette geschont.

Resümee

Die Bündelnagelung ist bei Einhaltung der Indikationen ein sehr kostengünstiges, einfaches und komplikationsarmes Osteosyntheseverfahren.

Abstract

Background

The helical bundle nailing is an older method, which in our opinion, however, can still be used in adults today. Compared with other osteosynthesis plate fixation methods and the use of an external fixator, we consider the spiral bundle nailing method of Henning as an appropriate method for the treatment of proximal humerus fractures.

Method

The spiral bundle nailing method of Henning can be used for a large range of indications, and in the case of osteosynthesis, the rotator cuff is spared.

Conclusion

In our opinion, bundle nailing is cost effective, simple, and associated with relative few complications for the specified indications.
